在场的各位同学、各位老师,大家好!我是预备一班的云,今天,有幸在这里作题为《科技与未来》的演讲,我既十分的骄傲,却又有些不安。近几年来,我们看到了我们伟大的祖国的科技事业的迅猛发展,这让我为我是个中国人而感到无比的自豪。记得很久以前,手机的用途几乎只有一个,那就是打电话,可是前几年,手机有了很大的改变,不仅外观漂亮多了,而且用途也多了,可以用手机拍照、开会、上网、发短信息等等一系列的事情,这让我们的生活更为方便,也让我更加领会到了科技的力量,不过,我只是个初出茅庐的学生,对“科技”二字的内容还知之有限,我无法用一些很深奥的理论来阐述科技的玄奇,也无法对各位走上工作岗位的长辈们承诺我所能实现的科技蓝图。但我愿意用一个学生的角度来畅想科技与未来。 从基因工程“让人活到一千岁”的梦想,到纳米技术“包你穿衣不用洗”的诺言;从人工智能“送你一只可爱机器狗”的温馨,到转基因技术“让老鼠长出人耳朵”的奇观。不断有新的科技在诞生,每一个新科技的发现都会让人们欣喜若狂,因为,这些新科技正在逐步地改善我们的生活,让我们更加了解自己。就近期而言,中国首先完成了非典病毒全基因组测序,非典现在是全球公认的危害性最大的疾病,可是为什么别的国家不能首先完成,而我们国家就偏偏完成了呢?很简单,这说明了我们国家不比别人落后,不比别人差,回头看看我们祖国的过去,从曾经一个刚刚起步的改革开放的国家到现在的拥有领先的科技水平的大国,我们的祖国经历了多少的风风雨雨,多少的困难与坎坷,但是我们的祖国还是挺过来了,因为我们的祖国坚信——科技不仅改变命运,还可改变未来。 对于我们这一代人,对社会的普遍感觉是竞争意识强了,学习劲头足了。科普知识是我们关注的焦点,爱因斯坦、霍金、比尔·盖茨是我们心目中的明星,计算机科学、现代物理和化学动态更是无时不牵动着我们。我们已经明白科技的重要性,也知道了科技的普遍性。 虽然科技创造新生活的前景引人遐思,令人神往。但是归根结底是要靠我们共同的努力实现的。作为祖国未来建设的中坚,我们这一代年轻人肩上的担子的确不轻,新的机遇总是伴着风险与挑战,但是,我们不会轻易地说放弃,我们用我们的青春向前辈们发誓:决不辜负前辈们对我们的希望。 回望文明的历程,是科技之光扫荡了人类历史上蒙昧的黑暗,是科学之火点燃了人类心灵中的熊熊的希望;科技支撑了文明,科技创造着未来,而未来在我们手中。让我们成为知识的探索者,让我们在未知的道路上漫游,让我用我们的创造力将我们居住的世界变得更美好。

称呼:开始时对听众的称呼语,最常用的是Ladiesandgentlemen,也可根据不同情况,选用其他的表达。

结束语:结尾要简洁,不要拉拉扯扯,说个没完。

I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I've ever gotten to a college graation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories.

The first story is about connecting the dots.

I dropped out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out?

It started before I was born. My biological mother was a young, unwed college graate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife. Except that when I popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. So my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: "We have an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?" They said: "Of course." My biological mother later found out that my mother had never graated from college and that my father had never graated from high school. She refused to sign the final adoption papers. She only relented a few months later when my parents promised that I would someday go to college.

And 17 years later I did go to college. But I naively chose a college that was almost as expensive as Stanford, and all of my working-class parents' savings were being spent on my college tuition. After six months, I couldn't see the value in it. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out. And here I was spending all of the money my parents had saved their entire life. So I decided to drop out and trust that it would all work out OK. It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The minute I dropped out I could stop taking the required classes that didn't interest me, and begin dropping in on the ones that looked interesting.

It wasn't all romantic. I didn't have a dorm room, so I slept on the floor in friends' rooms, I returned coke bottles for the 5¢ deposits to buy food with, and I would walk the 7 miles across town every Sunday night to get one good meal a week at the Hare Krishna temple. I loved it. And much of what I stumbled into by following my curiosity and intuition turned out to be priceless later on. Let me give you one example:

Reed College at that time offered perhaps the best calligraphy instruction in the country. Throughout the campus every poster, every label on every drawer, was beautifully hand calligraphed. Because I had dropped out and didn't have to take the normal classes, I decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to do this. I learned about serif and san serif typefaces, about varying the amount of space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. It was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture, and I found it fascinating.

None of this had even a hope of any practical application in my life. But ten years later, when we were designing the first Macintosh computer, it all came back to me. And we designed it all into the Mac. It was the first computer with beautiful typography. If I had never dropped in on that single course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. And since Windows just copied the Mac, its likely that no personal computer would have them. If I had never dropped out, I would have never dropped in on this calligraphy class, and personal computers might not have the wonderful typography that they do. Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college. But it was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later.

Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

My second story is about love and loss.

I was lucky – I found what I loved to do early in life. Woz and I started Apple in my parents garage when I was 20. We worked hard, and in 10 years Apple had grown from just the two of us in a garage into a billion company with over 4000 employees. We had just released our finest creation - the Macintosh - a year earlier, and I had just turned 30. And then I got fired. How can you get fired from a company you started? Well, as Apple grew we hired someone who I thought was very talented to run the company with me, and for the first year or so things went well. But then our visions of the future began to diverge and eventually we had a falling out. When we did, our Board of Directors sided with him. So at 30 I was out. And very publicly out. What had been the focus of my entire alt life was gone, and it was devastating.

I really didn't know what to do for a few months. I felt that I had let the previous generation of entrepreneurs down - that I had dropped the baton as it was being passed to me. I met with David Packard and Bob Noyce and tried to apologize for screwing up so badly. I was a very public failure, and I even thought about running away from the valley. But something slowly began to dawn on me – I still loved what I did. The turn of events at Apple had not changed that one bit. I had been rejected, but I was still in love. And so I decided to start over.

I didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.

During the next five years, I started a company named NeXT, another company named Pixar, and fell in love with an amazing woman who would become my wife. Pixar went on to create the worlds first computer animated feature film, Toy Story, and is now the most successful animation studio in the world. In a remarkable turn of events, Apple bought NeXT, I retuned to Apple, and the technology we developed at NeXT is at the heart of Apple's current renaissance. And Laurene and I have a wonderful family together.

I'm pretty sure none of this would have happened if I hadn't been fired from Apple. It was awful tasting medicine, but I guess the patient needed it. Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. I'm convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did. You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle.

My third story is about death.
我的第三个故事是关于死亡的。
When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.
当我十七岁的时候, 我读到了一句话:“如果你把每一天都当作生命中最后一天去生活的话,那么有一天你会发现你是正确的。”这句话给我留下了深刻的印象。从那时开始,过了33年,我在每天早晨都会对着镜子问自己:“如果今天是我生命中的最后一天, 你会不会完成你今天想做的事情呢?”当答案连续很多次被给予“不是”的时候, 我知道自己需要改变某些事情了。
Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything – all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.

About a year ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I had a scan at 7:30 in the morning, and it clearly showed a tumor on my pancreas. I didn't even know what a pancreas was. The doctors told me this was almost certainly a type of cancer that is incurable, and that I should expect to live no longer than three to six months. My doctor advised me to go home and get my affairs in order, which is doctor's code for prepare to die. It means to try to tell your kids everything you thought you'd have the next 10 years to tell them in just a few months. It means to make sure everything is buttoned up so that it will be as easy as possible for your family. It means to say your goodbyes.

I lived with that diagnosis all day. Later that evening I had a biopsy, where they stuck an endoscope down my throat, through my stomach and into my intestines, put a needle into my pancreas and got a few cells from the tumor. I was sedated, but my wife, who was there, told me that when they viewed the cells under a microscope the doctors started crying because it turned out to be a very rare form of pancreatic cancer that is curable with surgery. I had the surgery and I'm fine now.

This was the closest I've been to facing death, and I hope its the closest I get for a few more decades. Having lived through it, I can now say this to you with a bit more certainty than when death was a useful but purely intellectual concept:

And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life's change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will graally become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
When I was young, there was an amazing publication called The Whole Earth Catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation. It was created by a fellow named Stewart Brand not far from here in Menlo Park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch. This was in the late 1960's, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and polaroid cameras. It was sort of like Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notion
Stewart and his team put out several issues of The Whole Earth Catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. It was the mid-1970s, and I was your age. On the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. Beneath it were the words: "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." It was their farewell message as they signed off. Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. And I have always wished that for myself. And now, as you graate to begin anew, I wish that for you.
Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

我是来自北京中远物流的田征,很高兴能代表团委参加这次的演讲比赛,将广大青年员工的优秀事迹与在座的每一位分享。我的演讲题目是“创新促发展,青春勇担当”。
青春,因梦想而绚丽,因奋斗而精彩。人们赞美青春、珍爱青春,缘于青春是生命中风华正茂的多彩花季,是打牢人生根基的黄金时期,是成就美好梦想的萌生时节。青春最大的魅力,不仅在它的锐气和勇气、梦想和希望,更在于它的生命中萌动着的创造力和创新精神。青年是社会上最富活力、最具创造性的群体,理应走在创新队伍的前列。创新是一个国家强盛的发动机,是一个民族进步的灵魂,更是一个公司发展的动力源泉。
在北京中远物流转型发展的道路上,涌现出了一批批始终站在公司创新发展的最前沿,勇立潮头、勇挑重担的青年员工和集体。他们立足本职岗位、勤奋学习、刻苦钻研,不断提高岗位履职能力;他们不怕苦累、拼搏奉献、迎难而上,敢于挑战艰难险阻;他们脚踏实地、科学求实、不骄不躁,取得了一流工作业绩;他们解放思想、开拓创新、敢为人先,不断推动创造激情;在科技创新、管理提升、降本增效、安全生产、营销服务等各项工作中, 为实现公司盈利转型发挥了重要作用,体现了青年人的价值,展现了青春的无限风采。
在北京中远物流工程物流部有这样一支集体,他们用自己的专业技能,创先争优,攻坚克难,通过打造项目团队的凝聚力与核心竞争力,在北京重大件物流市场上开创了一片天地,他们就是北重阿尔斯通项目部。这是一支团结、向上、充满朝气的年轻的集体,项目部现有人员 9 名,35岁以下的青年员工 6 名,占项目部员工的 70%。自2006年起承担定子全程物流运输任务以来,项目部迄今已顺利完成了包括中国本土、瑞士、英国、荷兰、非洲等33台规格不同的重大件定子发电机物流运输任务,创造了可观的经济效益和社会效益。如何让价值近数千万欧元,集超高、超宽、超重于一体的庞然大物经过23个转弯,跨越42座桥梁,12座涵洞,穿越丰台、石景山、大兴、海淀四个区成功从北重工厂穿越北京城常常考验着项目组。这不仅关系到设备、财产的安全,更关系到生命安全和北京中远物流的社会责任和社会形象。项目部定期组织员工学习大件运输的最新理论知识,围绕运输线路选择、货物装卸和加固等技术方案和应急预案等进行内部高强度培训。为了克服运输中的种种难点,项目部还研究采用了国内最先进的桥式车组运输方式,以最大限度适应道路要求。除此之外, 项目部还自行编制了《超重型车辆运输操作规则》、《定子季节运输应急方案》,开发了“桥上桥”技术,制定了运输前协调会制度,这些精心准备目的只有一个,那就是确保定子运输的万无一失。项目组先后27次成功地将价值近数千万欧元定子穿越北京,完成国内外综合物流“交钥匙”工程,目前该项目实现无生产责任事故安全运输达15000多公里。北重阿尔斯通项目部秉承中远物流“物畅其流、传递文明”的企业使命,按照“务实、协调、创新、进取”的企业精神,保持严谨、认真、规范的工作态度,多次刷新北京市区大件运输的纪录。项目部更是先后荣获中远物流系统“双学一创”文明窗口、“中远集团青年文明号”以及“中央企业青年文明号”等集体荣誉称号,他们的定子运输方案荣获第六届中国国际物流节2010年”解决经典方案大奖”。 七年来,项目部先后培养和输送了6名骨干人才,为公司业务发展做出了突出的贡献。七年来,项目部全体员工在项目中磨砺,在困难中成长,他们用敬业与学识践行着对企业的责任与义务,践行着科学发展观。他们以科学的管理和专业的技术为客户提供优质的服务,在平凡中体现秩序,在困境中前进发展。“勇于争先,永不止步”将作为北重阿尔斯通项目部的精神传承下去,激励着更多团员青年开拓奋进,不断前行。

朋友,你认识创新吗?创新其实是一个梦想。
中国古代曾有一个人,背负纸做的翅膀,义无反顾地纵身跳下高高的山崖,希冀像鸟儿一样飞翔在晴空。在粉身碎骨跳下的一瞬间,他是否隐约看到了碧空中可以自由翱翔的飞机?
英国有一位作家,在他一生的作品中,尽情幻想,将热气球、潜水艇、电报提前了几十、甚至几百年带入我们的生活。在凡尔纳下笔的一刹那,他是否已经预先看到了遥远的未来?
梦想标示着丰富的想象力,想象力为创新提供源泉。创新从梦想中蜕变,以梦想为根,受梦想浇灌。像永不失天真的爱因斯坦吹出的肥皂泡,在空冥的大地上,不断破灭又不断上升。

然而挖掘不是最难,最难的是那意识的产生。你一定游过泳,一定玩过水,你一定感受到过水的压力,但你能说,你可以造出浮力定律吗?甚至你敢说,会想到用水来称象吗?恐怕不敢吧?生活中许多事情就是这样,在你经历时,就已触摸到创新的边缘了,然而我们却没有那个观念,有意识地将创新完成。
作为大学生,我们的知识仍然贫乏,也许我们不能有多少伟大的具体的创新。但是我们一定要培养我们的创新意识。这意识中包含着许多内容。首先,我们要学会梦想,学会不为现实堵塞我们的天真,不时地做一做童年的梦,想一想飞上火星的浪漫,想一想生活于外太空的美妙。不要只盯着别墅、跑车,做物质的奴隶。然后,让我们学会怀疑与批判。不要吓倒在老师那威严的面孔下,不要认为凡是印成了铅字的东西就是真理。昆德拉说:“人类一思考,上帝就发笑。”相信自己,坚持怀疑,敢于批判,不惧,方显英雄本色。再次,让我们深沉一下,稳重一点,不妨压抑一下青春的律动,多思考一些东西,多研究一些学问,不要有了一个奇特的创意,一个未闻的发现就妄自高兴,而到实践时却束手无策。最后也是最重要的,就是要培养自己的创新意识,尤其是对专业中新事物的敏感度。伦琴因为一张被感光了的底片,意识到X射线的存在,最终获得第一届诺贝尔奖,牛顿因为一只落下的苹果而发现万有引力。他们对于专业的敏锐,是我们在学习中真正要掌握到手的知识。
认识创新。“认”是一个认知,明白其表象的过程;而“识”是一个理解,探索其本质含义的过程。认识创新,我们不仅仅要“认”,更重要的是要“识”。认识创新,我们与其共同发展。
记得很久以前,手机的用途几乎只有一个,那就是打电话,可是几年之后,手机有了很大的改变,不仅外观漂亮多了,而且用途也多了,渐渐的可以用手机发短信了,可以用手机上网了,可以用手机拍照了,再后来苹果触控手机横空出世,咱们才有了今天的.触控体验,这些都是一些不得了的创新,都可以直接导致一个行业的重新洗牌,可是仔细看看,发短信不过是用电子手段写信件,上网是在手机行业引入互联网,拍照更是生硬,直接把相机按到手机上,还有现在如日中天的苹果,也不过是将触控技术应用到手机,这些也正是现在最普通的组合创新

I think the creativity roots in imagination. Albert Einstein said that imagination is important than knowledge. Because we should creative a thing that is never appeared, we need to image. Use all the things and information around us to think and then go to achieve it. Without the imagination of the Wright brothers , human could not complete the flying dreams.
