『肆』 如何评价Pink Floyd新专辑The Endless River
这一首新歌的开场音效特别像《The Division Bell》那张专辑，那就是上一张正规录音室专辑。
预计风格延续《The Division Bell》，因为这张新作品有部分录音是1993年完成的，就是上一张专辑的发行时间。还有一部分是1969年录制的，也就是原声专辑《More》和半录音半现场那张《Ummagumma》录制的时候，所以风格可能会有一致性。新做的录音是2013年开始的，也许这部分会比较和以往的不一样。
那首歌开头一句歌词，“we bitch and we fight”就足可以体现特色了。依然宝刀未老。但估计这也可能是这张作品里面唯一唱得一首歌。
封面设计描绘的是：一名年轻男子着敞领衫，穿过一片云海，面朝太阳的光芒，撑一条孤舟。配合标题有一种神韵吧，讲不太清楚，大概就是容易让我想到《Life of Pi》。
标题The Endless River，在《The Division Bell》里出现过，也就是《High Hopes》的最后一句“The water flowing/The endless river/Forever and ever ”

看见有人讨论Dave和Waters的创作能力，有人觉得由Dave主导的乐队创作大不如从前了。
我对乐理不太懂，但主题能够听得出来，就我的观点而言：
Dave的风格注重旋律，主题次之。他自己做的《On An Iland》整体性很强，听了之后身临其境的感觉。对Dave的批评主要是音乐元素使用总是沿袭最经典的《The Dark Side of the Moon》，没有什么突破。但是你仔细听他们的《Comfortably Numb》，有一小段solo同《Time》是很相似的，如果因为这说《The Wall》不经典是说不过去的，尽管Rogers离团后那几张更加无所突破。
Waters比较哲学，节奏把控很好，作品主题都很明显，像《Amused To Death》里面，很多悲天悯人的独奏。
对此一下，Waters离开后，Dave使用的意象都是自然物，grass, iland ,river。Waters依然延续他的社会化主题，体制，消费主义，电视文化等。
于是可以看出来Dave更多地关注的是一种个人的人生观了，come back to life 。现如今各成员分道扬镳，散的散了，去世的去世了，在一起的还在一起，也没有那么多苦大仇深了。所以现在作品主题就更平静了，没那么鲜明的节奏呀，深刻批判呀，悲天悯人呀。
仍然像上面提到的《High Hopes》那最后一句，“the water flowing / the endless river / forever and ever”
人之将去时，不需要再刻意去做出让别人觉得厉害交口称赞的东西了。回顾自身，他们这几个搞毛了的好基友们已经做出这么大成就来了，就不需要再得到什么肯定了，louder than words , 事实胜于雄辩嘛。至于再来一次，并不是要来革新什么摇滚乐，而是再回顾一次他们自己最热爱的东西，而这也许就是他们最后一次做这个了。像Wright已经没机会了。
就像《愤怒的公牛》，拳王拉莫塔最后成了一个讲段子的人，还在镜子面前给自己打气，毫无疑问他不再是一个伟大的拳手了，但不可否认，他永远是个斗士。光辉是一时的，相对而言，生活就是endless。
所以从态度上，我给这首音乐和这张专辑，正面评价和预期的正面评价。
专辑方面，不能预测会有些什么样叼炸天的东西，等待吧。以上的评论仅针对这首歌。
